SB-designated footwear is evaluated through 40 compulsory tests including evaluating the tolerance in each shoe’s toecap for impact up to 200 J.
S1P-designated footwear is evaluated using the same tests as SB footwear with additional tests assessing anti-static properties, penetration resistance (i.e., nail protection), and heel energy absorption (i.e., shock absorption).
Safety-tipped shoe, antistatic, with closed, energy-absorbing heel. Designed for wear in dry working conditions.
Safety-tipped shoe, antistatic, with closed, energy-absorbing heel and waterproof shank (60 min.). Designed for wear in wet working conditions.
Safety-tipped shoe, antistatic, with closed, energy-absorbing heel and waterproof shank, penetration-resistant intermediate sole. Designed to protect against penetration and for wear in wet working conditions.
Safety-tipped boot, designed to protect against 200 J of impact, antistatic, with energy-absorbing heel.
Safety-tipped boot, designed to protect against 200 J of impact, antistatic, with energy-absorbing heel and contoured, penetration-resistant intermediate sole.
Steel toe protects against falling objects and compression, shock-resistant to 200 J and compression-resistant to 15,000 N.
Composite toe protects against falling objects and compression, shock-resistant to 200 J and compression-resistant to 15,000 N. Composite toe cap is ultra light, ultra resistant, thinner, and more elastic than steel toe cap.
